  • Grab the kids and head out on an impromptu backpacking or camping trip. Pack a healthy picnic lunch with ready-to-eat Hickory Farms GoPicnic meals.
  • Moms and daughters can enjoy getting pampered together with a Mom and daughter spa day!
  • Dads and sons can head out to cheer on their favorite sports team together, always a great bonding experience.
  • Parents of young children can plan a visit with their grandparents where the focus is on family history. Regale them with stories of where Grandma and Grandpa first met and of how Daddy and Mommy got together to instill an interest in their family’s unique history.
  • If you live by water, cast off for a day trip on a charter boat for pleasure cruising or deep-sea fishing. Teach the small fry nautical terms like fore, aft, port and starboard.
  • Older children looking to do something nice for their parents, can offer to take them out to a nice dinner and pick up the tab. Make sure you make a toast to Mom and Dad and thank them for all the love and support they’ve given you over the years.
  • Plan a surprise potluck supper for the whole family where everyone contributes by bringing their own dish. Short on time? Order a gourmet spread from Hickory Farms.
