After removing the cake from the pan, top with a mixture of whipped cream, sugar, and amaretto, then roll up the cake and finish with more nuts.

Chocolate Puffs

For another great way to use our mixed nuts, try a Chocolate Puff. Start by mixing the filling by combining cream cheese with sugar, chocolate-hazelnut spread, our chopped nuts, and whipped cream.

Next, build the puffs by mixing sugar, flour, and cocoa powder into water, melted butter, and salt. Bake the puffs, then scoop out the soft dough inside and replace the dough with your chocolate cream.

The Classic

For pecan pie purists, go with the traditional, old-fashioned southern recipe. Start by preparing basic pie dough and forming it into a round pie pan. Crimp the edges of the dough for a nice, clean presentation. Then, place the dough into the refrigerator and allow it to firm up.

Meanwhile, in a medium sauce pan, melt butter before whisking in some brown sugar until the mixture is smooth. Then, add corn syrup, vanilla, a little salt and a pinch of orange zest. In a separate bowl, mix three beaten eggs into the butter mixture. Finally, add your pecans to the crust, top with the rest of the ingredients and then bake.
