The holiday season always brings so much joy and excitement. With the excitement and anticipation that go hand in hand with the holidays, there also comes a great deal of planning. Here at Hickory Farms, we want to help lighten the load by providing quick and easy tips to help the holidays go smoothly. Tip #1- Keep Chocolate on Hand Don’t be caught empty handed! We’ve all been in those situations where we have an unexpected guest arrive to a holiday event. By keeping an extra box of the Hickory Farms Signature Chocolate Collection readily available at your home, you’ll never have to worry about being unprepared this season. Tip #2- Have a Signature Drink Add a personal touch to your holiday parties by having a signature drink. Tip #3-Set the Holiday Tone with Music Decorating for the holiday season is a tradition so many families possess. Why not make decorating even more …

Veteran’s Day, held annually on Nov. 11, is the perfect time to honor our nation’s armed forces for their sacrifices and bravery. Hickory Farms has always been a big supporter of the men and women stationed both at home and abroad. As such, we’ve compiled some special ways you and your family can honor our nation’s heroes this year. Most communities usually hold a symbolic ceremony to honor the local men and women dedicated to keeping citizens safe. This is a wonderful time to teach children of all ages about patriotism and the dedication to duty members of our armed forces — both active duty and retired — exemplify with their service to our country. Chunky Double Chocolate Caramel Brownies

The holiday season is loosely translated to the “chocolate” season in our family. Whether we’re gifting each other our favorite chocolates, candy bars, or truffles, some of us end up with countless boxes of these festive holiday chocolates…more than we could ever eat! If leftover chocolate is not a problem in your home, you’re one of the lucky few. That’s where these Chunky Double Chocolate Caramel Brownies come in to save the day. By chopping and folding in bits and pieces from into this semi-healthy brownie batter (it has applesauce that replaces some of the fat in this recipe, so it’s not too bad!), you’re turning your holiday chocolate gifts into a delicious, chocolate packed treat.       American confectionery craftsmen and women make the Hickory Farms Signature Chocolate Collection with the finest ingredients, along with premium milk and dark chocolate, and these chocolates are like little bites of heaven. The flavor combinations include Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel, Almond Butter Toffee, Raspberry Sorbet Heart, and Espresso Coffee Cream, among others. For this recipe, I chose all the caramel based chocolates to accentuate the caramel flavors of the brownies. These brownies are the perfect treat to bring to teachers, …
