Save the Date for Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation Event

This year, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation® events will take place in 40 cities across the United States and Canada, with many of the cities celebrating 25 years of partnering with local top chefs and mixologists to raise money in the fight to end childhood hunger. Hickory Farms is proud to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign in the fight against childhood hunger. And we are especially excited about an upcoming event that we can all take part in to help the cause. Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation Toledo is coming up on Sunday, April 21, 2013! Taste of the Nation Toledo will take place at The Toledo Club and is set to be a fabulous evening of gourmet food and fun. This year’s featured chefs are Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Washington, DC’s Bibiana and Chef William Skinner of Huron, Ohio’s North Bar. Chef Stefanelli’s studied at Maryland’s L’Academie de Cuisine and went on to accept an externship at Galileo restaurant in Washington, DC. At Hickory Farms, we know that you spend lot of your life in the kitchen. From cooking and dining to entertaining and (sometimes) enjoying that elusive cup of tea, a majority of the day is spent here.
